Student & Guardian Experience Updates
We are excited to share several updates to the Bus Compass parent app designed to provide families with more visibility and an improved overall experience.
Enhanced Route & Stop Visibility
Guardians can now access a comprehensive view of their student’s daily transportation schedule directly from their mobile device.
Assigned Route Details: The app now lists the specific route name and bus number assigned to each student.
Seat Assignments: To assist with boarding and safety, student seat assignments are now displayed directly within the app.
Scheduled Stop Times: Real-time visibility into stop locations and scheduled times helps families plan mornings and afternoons with confidence
Multi-Student Management
For families with multiple students, managing the daily commute is now much simpler:
Student Toggle: View the bus status for everyone on the same screen.
Improved Communication & Support
We've made it easier to stay informed and get help when you need it:
Push Notification Retention: Custom notifications sent from the Transportant Dashboard are now saved within the app. This allows parents to refer back to important district updates at any time.
Centralized Settings: Access user information, device notification settings, and support contacts all in one place.
