Edit a Stop

Edit a Stop

To edit a stop of a route, open the Routes page in the Route Management section of the dashboard. Click the desired route, which will open for editing:
A route open for editing
There, click on "click to edit stops". There, select the “stops” tab if it isn't already selected. You will see a list the route's stops; click on the one you want to edit and it will open for editing. Make your changes as desired. A few points to note:
  1. Description. This is the name of the stop that the driver will see on the copilot. You may use the address or any other description that you and your drivers would find useful.
  2. Radius. If you look at the map of the route you will see the stop you have selected is surrounded by a circle. The radius sets the size of the circle: a larger number makes a larger circle. If the driver stops outside of the circle, "wrong stop" notifications will result. If this happens often at this stop, you can help the driver by making this stop's radius larger.
  3. Location Type. There are two types of locations:
    1. A stop is a location the bus will stop at to load students off/on the bus.
    2. A waypoint is a location that the driver will drive through but not stop at. Its purpose is to ensure the bus is routed through here and not elsewhere.
  4. Approach from the Curb Side. Checking this indicates that the bus needs to pull up to a certain side of the road to pick the students up.
