Add a Waypoint

Add a Waypoint

If you need a route to follow a specific path between stops, you can do so by creating one or more intermediate waypoints along the desired path.
To add a waypoint to a route, open the Routes page in the Route Management section of the dashboard. Click the desired route, which will open for editing:

There, click on "click to edit stops". There, select the “stops” tab if it isn't already selected. In the top right corner of the browser window, press "edit route".
At this point you may add a waypoint by whichever of these methods is easier for your situation:
  1. Click the magnifying glass in the upper left corner of the map. Type in the address of the new stop and press enter. Change the location type to "waypoint".
  2. Right click on the map where you want the new stop. Options will appear; select "add a waypoint here".
However you added your new waypoint, a pin will appear on the map to mark it. You may drag the pin to adjust the exact location if you wish.
When done, press the "save your changes" button in the top right corner of the browser window.
