App Usage

The App Usage page is found on the dashboard's main page in the Bus Compass section. This page helps you understand how and when students and parents use the Bus Compass app.

Views

The App Usage page has six views to help you drill down to the information you are interested in. To change the view, click on the drop-down selector labeled view, and select your desired view. The Apply Filters button will activate; press it.
 

Active Students

This view shows the number of unique students with an active route run within the app. You can hover over any point to see more information. You can click on any point to see student names, and there click on a student to see more information about him or her.

Activity

This view shows the number of requests made while the app was open. Higher numbers indicate more people looking at the app for longer periods of time. You can hover over any point to see more information.

Devices

This view shows the number of unique devices with the app open each hour. Higher numbers indicate more people looking at the app. You can hover over any point to see more information.

Routes

This view shows the number of unique routes within the app. You can hover over any point to see more information. Click on a point to see route names, and there click on a route to see more information about it.

Students

This view shows the number of unique students within the app. You can hover over any point to see more information. You can click on any point to see student names, and there click on a student to see more information about him or her.

Users

This view shows the number of unique users (students and guardians) with the app open each hour. You can hover over any point to see more information. You can click on any point to see user names, and there click on a user to see more information about him or her.

Other filters

You can set the start and end dates to be displayed.
By default, the charts show only typical school transportation hours. If you enable the Show Off-Peak Times checkbox, the charts will show all 24 hours in each day.
As with changing the view, remember to press the Apply Filters button after changing any of these filters.
You can hide or reveal the filters by clicking on the up or down arrow at the bottom of the filter panel.
