What It Is
A daily wakeup feature is available for your buses, to help you identify at a glance any bus that is not coming online as expected or that has low battery voltage. It is intended to help you address maintenance needs early to keep your fleet running smoothly. This is an optional feature available at no cost.
Set a Wakeup Time
Contact Transportant Customer Success at
support@transportant.com to coordinate and set your preferred daily wakeup time. Wakeup times can be set fleet-wide or per bus.
Check Battery Voltage Readings
From the main page of the dashboard, open the Device Management -
Device Health page:

On the page that opens, click on the Battery/Ignition column header to sort voltage readings from lowest to highest:
Any reading below 12.0V will be highlighted in red, making it easy to identify buses that may need attention:
Confirm That Buses Come Online
From the main page of the dashboard, open the Fleet Management - Buses page:
On the page that opens, click on the Status column header to sort your buses according to when they were most recently online:
You should see that every bus in your fleet has been online today, either at or near the wakeup time (4 am in the example image above) or later today. Any bus that has a wakeup timer set yet has not come online today should be investigated. Our article
Bring a Bus Online may be of assistance.
Use this feature to stay ahead of battery and charging system maintenance issues and keep your fleet operating reliably.
