Bus Battery Health Chart

Battery Chart

What Is the Battery Chart

The Transportant system monitors ignition and battery voltage for each bus. These values are recorded when the system first enters active mode, when the ignition status changes, and periodically every hour during active mode. This information is helpful when checking your fleet's health, when troubleshooting a problem, and for proactively identifying a failing battery.

How To Open the Battery Chart

There are several ways to open a bus's battery chart:
  1. From the main page of the dashboard, open the Device Health page in the Device Management section. Find the bus of interest and click on its entry in the battery/ignition column.
  2. From the main page of the dashboard, open the Buses page in the Fleet Management section. Hover the mouse over the bus number of interest. A context menu will appear; choose "View battery chart".
  3. As in the previous method, open the Buses page in the Fleet Management section. Select the bus of interest. In the right top corner of the page, click on Bus Actions. A context menu will appear; choose "View battery chart".
