Installs

What is the Installs page

The Installs page, found in the Device Management section of the dashboard, serves multiple purposes:
  1. It shows you all the devices (attendants, copilots, and cameras) that are now or have been allocated to your school system
  2. It is where you allocate attendants to your buses
  3. It is where you deallocate devices from your buses

Viewing your devices

If you are searching for a particular device, in the Filter By field at the top of the page, enter the device's hostname. In the case of an attendant, there may be multiple entries for its hostname. If so, you will usually use the one with the most recent handshake.
If you are searching for a particular class of device, use the filters at the top of the page. Available filters are:
  1. Device types: Attendant, copilot, and/or camera
  2. Install state: All, installed (allocated), uninstalled (deallocated), and/or returned
If you do not see the device you are looking for, the most likely reason is that you have the filters on that page set to exclude what you are looking for. Set the filters to the most inclusive, as shown in the screenshot below: for device types, select all three types, and for install state, select all:
If you do not see those filters, then you likely have the filter panel collapsed. In that case, click on the downward arrow shown in the screenshot below, which will reveal the filter panel:
