View Video When Recording is Turned Off
When you want to view live video but you see "Bus is parked at a location where video recording is turned off", hover your computer's mouse over that message. A number of video controls will appear. Press the icon of three vertical dots ("more actions") in the top right corner of the video player. A context menu will open; select "switch to live stream". This turns on the cameras, and in a moment you will see live video.
To not run down your buses' batteries needlessly, Do Not Record locations have been set, where video is not normally needed, such as on a bus lot. When a bus is parked in such a location, the cameras are turned off to save power, but you can always wake them as described above. After a moment the cameras will go back to sleep, again to save power.
