Copilot Stuck on White or Black Screen
Occasionally you might see a copilot stuck on a white or black screen. In the case of a black screen, there may be text citing "kernel panic". If you have a copilot with this problem, replace it:
- Remove the copilot from the bus and deallocate it.
- Install a spare copilot and allocate it. Confirm that the new copilot is working properly.
- Write the Transportant support team at support@transportant.com to request a return shipping label. Mention the hostname of the copilot (of the form "ATP1234", found on a sticker on the copilot), the bus it came off of, and that is was stuck on a white or black screen. Transportant will provide you with a return shipping label, and upon receipt of the defective copilot we will send you a warranty replacement.
